Our recent election was completed without incident. Congratulations to the new Board! But, our work doesn’t stop here; we have to update the Bylaws and the Rules and Regulations, and resolve our current issue with a couple of fences that were allowed to be constructed partially on community property. What’s the schedule for showing the draft Bylaws and the Rules and Regulations?

Issue of the day
At the October 14 meeting, the Board was directed to negotiate the fence issue with the affected homeowners, in good faith. Normally, that means some kind of compromise. The homeowners believe they have a binding agreement (yes, a contract) with the HPCA that allows them to put up their fences. What kinds of compromises could be offered?

Upcoming Meeting Thursday Oct 14!
There will be an important meeting this Thursday, October 12, at 7 pm at the Community Center. We've heard that the new Board will ask the members for approval to spend money to "resolve" the fences issue. How much money? We will find out at the meeting, we hope....
